all these posts complaining about formatting, themes, icons, writing styles, etc. have really started to piss me the hell off.

it is not your place to tell someone how to run their blog. if they like to format their writing, let them. if they want to have a container theme, let them. if they want icons with borders & filters & psds, let them. if someone wants to write in prose, let them. & if you don’t like or agree with these styles, instead of fucking complaining about them, don’t do them. & if it bothers you that much, don’t write with people who do!

i understand people not being able to read small text on themes, or people overdoing their icons or whatever, but it’s not your choice to do that. don’t tell someone what they can & cannot do with their blog. personally, i just don’t follow people who i don’t like. simple as that.

roleplaying is not a goddamn job. stop making people dread writing & being part of the roleplaying community. complaining about this shit by no way makes you better than anyone else, & roleplaying the original way makes you no more special than anyone else, so get off your high horse.

while i agree that the roleplaying community is not what it used to be, complaining about the creativity people are showing is not the way to spread awareness of the elitist attitude some people get. by complaining & telling people how to write & run their blog, it is you who is adopting the elitist attitude. so stop.

what’s wrong with wanting to fit in? generally, people like to fit in. there’s nothing wrong with that. stop telling people that it is because it’s not. if you like to be unique; be unique. but leave people alone who are just trying to feel accepted. it goes deeper than just aesthetics 99% of the time.

if you like to roleplay in a simple way, i understand that. continue doing what you are doing. but please stop complaining about people who like to use formatting & such.

the unfollow button is right there in the top corner. don’t like how people write? click that button. don’t like how they have their theme? click that goddamn button. save your breath & do us all a favor. i’m tired of feeling like shit for how i run my blog. i’m sure others are too.
