— - He had been wandering throughout the hospital for about thirty minutes now, desperately looking for something, anything, to do while he waited for his comrade to wake up. Noboru had already waited in his room for nearly two hours after there was no sign of him waking up anytime soon. Surely, a hospital could supply something else than waiting rooms or terrible cafeterias. 

The white hallways all looked the same to him, and even though he had been here many times himself, the shinobi still found himself lost between the white walls and floors that surrounded him.
At the end of the hallway was a little door, and a lightbulb turned on in his head.

He knew just who occupied that little office, and he might as well say hi. Walking towards the door and placing his hand on the doorknob, Noboru opened the door to find the very doctor engrossed by her work. 
Instinctively, Sakura looked up to greet the shinobi.

“To be honest, Sakura-san, I’m just waiting while my friend wakes up. Do you care if I stay here for a bit? This hospital doesn’t really have much of an entertainment factor if you know what I mean."

          entertainment was the last thing they worried about in the hospital – most of the time, people were too upset & wound up while waiting on the news of comrades who had come in sick or injured to even remotely care about doing something fun. 

          alas, clearly that had a few exceptions. she merely offers an understanding smile in response, palm occupied by the presence of a pen raising to gesture toward the plethora of chairs she had accumulated within her office for this reason alone.
